All are bound by Data Processing Agreements (DPA) that include EU Standard Contractual Clauses 2021/914. Copies of DPAs are available upon request.
- Legal authorities: If required by law, court order, or government regulation (e.g., anti-money laundering, customs declaration).
- Business transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, your data may be transferred with notice to you.
6. International Data Transfers
KAIRUI is based in China, and your personal data may be stored and processed on servers located in China (Alibaba Cloud). For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), we ensure an adequate level of protection by using the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) 2021/914. 7. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes outlined in this policy, unless a longer retention period is required by law (e.g., tax records: 5–10 years). Specific retention periods:
- Non-converted inquiries (no order placed): 2 years after last contact, after which data is automatically deleted.
- Converted customers (orders completed): 7 years after order completion (for warranty, tax, and legal compliance).
- Website usage logs (IP addresses, cookies): up to 12 months.
- Consent records (checkbox logs): 3 years, stored in encrypted format (Alibaba Cloud).
8. Cookies & Similar Technologies

All checkbox consent events are stored in an encrypted database hosted on Alibaba Cloud, accessible only to our Data Protection Officer.

Our website and services are directed to businesses and adult individuals (age 16+). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under 16 for EEA). If we become aware of any data collected from a child under 16, we will delete it within 48 hours.

We do not currently use automated decision-making or profiling that has legal or significant effects on you.
